Visual Language, Aesthetics and Style

Today's lesson we were separated into groups for our A4 trials critique. We shared our thoughts on our work and gave feedback relating to the meaning that we got from each other's work. From my group they suggested that I could use more colour and patterns. We then had a lecture and discussed about the visual language, aesthetics and style within images/designs that I could use as a guide to create a more deep meaning and successful image. Back in class we went into groups again to participate in an activity where we given design books, and then had to extract the adjectives that the images and artist tried to convey through their different design techniques. This group session was super helpful as I was able to generate further ideas to convey the atmosphere of my site.
